Developing a vivid color photo

I'm processing some photos I took during a recent trip to Portoroz, Croazia, with the intention to give them a vivid look. The result you can obtain with Lightroom, simply applying the vivid color profile you can download in this blog, is so impressive I've decided to post a step by step example:

Sony A900 officially discontinued!

The A900 will be the last Full Frame DSRL from Sony, it’s simply too expensive for Sony producing its “state of the art” optical viewfinder, its complex mirror movement and its real two shutter curtains… the new Sony era (you like or not) is made of all “electronic” cameras, that are much more profitable than the "traditional" models.

In base a diverse richieste che ho ricevuto, ho deciso di scrivere i prossimi post in inglese, od almeno di provarci.

Taking care of many requests, I've decided to write that blog in English from now. I'm not so good in written English, so please just skip over my errors.

Diffusore flash con carta fotografica

Premesso che cerco sempre di evitare la luce diretta del flash sul soggetto, spesso è impossibile utilizzare solamente quella di rimbalzo (soffitto e pareti in legno, soffitto molto alto, all'aperto, ect...), ho così pensato di costruire un semplice diffusore da poter portare sempre in borsa, senza spendere un euro.

Partendo da un foglio A4 di carta fotografica spessa (240 gr/cm2) è sufficiente ritagliare con un taglierino una sagoma trapezoidale, con la base minore ampia come la testa del vostro flash, e quella superiore più lunga di 2 / 3 cm. La sagoma ottenuta potrà essere fissata al flash tramite un elastico, oppure un velcro.

L'idea è quella di riflettere parte della luce diretta al soffitto verso il soggetto.
